I have been writing BASH for over 10 years, many thousands of lines of it. And even now, it teaches me new subtleties.BASH is a cruel master :slight_smile! This is why I hate it even though I use it extensively, and wish I could go back to nice, simple Java.
An old friend of mine once said “programming in BASH can be done, but it is as hard as trying to repair your Rolex watch while wearing oven mitts”.
